💡 Study tips for ECE board exam takers
1
Master Mathematics first — it unlocks all other subjects

Engineering Math is on Day 1 and is the foundation for everything else. Calculus, differential equations, and complex numbers appear inside Electronics and EST problems too. A strong Math score gives you momentum and confidence going into Day 2.

2
Electronics: prioritize op-amps, power electronics, and digital circuits

These are the most computation-heavy topics and where most conditional examinees score low. Op-amp configurations, transistor biasing, rectifiers, and PWM control are consistently tested. Do not just read — solve problems with a timer running.

3
EST is not just modulation — antennas and transmission lines are high-yield

Many reviewees focus only on AM/FM modulation and neglect antenna gain calculations, Smith chart problems, transmission line equations, and microwave link budgets. These are formulaic and predictable — easy points if you prepare specifically for them.

4
Do not neglect GEAS — it is where overconfident students drop their average

GEAS covers Physics, Chemistry, Engineering Economics, and Engineering Ethics — a wide scope that students underestimate. Consistently scoring 75%+ in GEAS is very achievable with focused preparation and it directly protects your general average.

5
Simulate both exam days in full at least twice before the actual board

Each subject is 100 items in 5 hours. Most fresh graduates score 60–68 on their first cold run. Run complete back-to-back mock days in the final 4 weeks to build the stamina and time management that exam day demands.
