A rotating wheel has a radius of 2 feet and 6 inches. A point on the rim of the wheel moves 30 feet in 2 sec find the angular velocity of the wheel.

  • A. 2 rad/s
  • B. 4 rad/s
  • C. 5 rad/s
  • D. 6 rad/s

Problem Answer:

The angular velocity of the wheel is 6 rad/s.
