A solid shaft 48.2 cm long is used for a transmission of a mechanical power at a rate of 37 kW running at 1760 rpm. The stress is 8.13 MPa. Calculate the diameter.

  • A.30 mm
  • B. 35 mm
  • C. 40 mm
  • D. 50 mm
