A 30-ฮฉ resistor, a 15-ฮฉ inductive reactance, and a 12-ฮฉ capacitive reactance are connected in parallel across a 120-V 60-Hz line. Find (a) the phasor branch currents, (b) total current and phase angle, (c) impedance, and (d) power drawn by the circuit.

(a) The phasor branch currents are equal to 4โ 0ยฐ A, 8โ -90ยฐ, and 10โ 90ยฐ A.

(b) The total current and phase angle is equal to 4.472โ 26.565ยฐ A.

(c) The impedance is equal to 24-12j ohms (26.833โ -26.565) .

(d) The power drawn by the circuit is equal to 240 Watts.
