LET Syllabi: Licensure Examination for Teachers Coverage | Pinoybix

This is the complete LET syllabi for Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) scheduled the exams twice a year for both elementary and secondary levels. As of now, LET is one of the most numbered examinees being administered by the PRC. To achieve the goal of being an LPT, an examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating of lower than 50% in any of the test.

The percentage of coverage of the exam for elementary level covers topics from General Education (GenEd) 40% and Professional Education (ProfEd) 60%, while in secondary level, GenEd 20%, ProfEd 40% and area of specialization 40%.

  2. FILIPINO (Komunikasyon sa Akademikong Filipino, Pagbasa at Pagsulat tungo sa Pananaliksik, Masining na Pagpapahayag)
  3. MATHEMATICS (Fundamentals of Math, Plane Geometry, Elementary Algebra, Statistics and Probability)
  4. SCIENCE (Biological Science -General Biology; Physical Science- with Earth Science)
  5. SOCIAL SCIENCES (Philippine Government New Constitution with Human Rights; Philippine History; Basic Economics, Taxation, Agrarian Reform; Society, Culture with Family Planning; Rizal and Other Heroes; Philosophy of Man; Arts; General Psychology; Information and Communication Technology)

IMPORTANT: PRC ADVISORY ON THE USE OF CALCULATOR

PRC through the Resolution No. 25 series of 2019 announced the following modifications in the list of allowable non-programmable calculators for LET.

  • Only the examinees in Secondary Level major in Mathematics (under Specialization subject) are allowed to use calculator.
  • The only allowed features of calculator are Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Trigonometric Function, Logarithm and xy.
  • Only one (1) calculator is allowed in examination room.

The resolution shall be applied starting the September 2019 Licensure Exam for Teachers onward.
